City of London Guided Tour

A guided tour of the Square Mile (the City of London) with Mario Beneventi, a fully qualified City of London Guide, member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding, and Chair of the City of London Guides Association (CLGLA).

This specially curated walk will take you through some of the City’s lesser‑known alleyways as well as its more iconic sites, tracing the area’s deep connections with its Italian heritage and legacy. Mario will guide us from the City’s Roman origins through medieval and modern architecture, churches, finance, and other fascinating insights into one of the world’s most remarkable “Square Miles”.

The tour will last approximately 90 minutes, followed by an informal gathering in a nearby pub for those who wish to stay on (refreshments not included in the ticket price). Both the meeting and end points will be in the heart of the City; exact locations will be confirmed nearer the date.
